Joseph J. Del Guidice, 75, Operations Director, WWII Navy Veteran
Avon- Joseph J. Del Guidice- 75 of Avon, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 31, at his home following complication of diabetes. Mr. Del Guidice was born, April 30, 1925 in Cleveland and has lived in Avon for the past 25 years.He worked for the City of Cleveland as Operations Director at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for 23 years retiring in 1985. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving in Guam. He was a member of the Radio Control Club of Lorain County and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was a private pilot and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Besides his wife Mary (nee Magnone) of 52 years, he is survived by a daughter Denise Del Guidice of Avon a son Tom (Karen) Del Guidice of Middleburg Hgts., grandchildren Michael (Cory) and Lisa Inman and Danielle and Natalie Del Guidice and a great granddaughter Bianca Inman. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Eda (nee Chester) and 7 brothers.
