Leonard Henry Dellefield, 91, Elyria Pattern Company Retiree
Leonard Henry Dellefield, 91 of Worthington, OH formerly of Elyria, passed away, Sunday, November 05, at the Sunrise Assisted Living Center, Worthington, OH following complications of congestive heart failure.Mr. Dellefield was born, March 26, 1909 in Elyria and was a life long Elyria resident until moving to Worthington 1 � years ago.
Mr. Dellefield stared his career with the Elyria Foundry and in 1947 co-founded the Elyria Pattern Company and retired from there in 1973. He was a 1926 graduate of Elyria High School, a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ Church, Elyria. He was also a member of the Elyria Senior Fellowship and the Elks Club of Elyria.
Survivors include a daughter Jeanne Browne of Worthington, four grandchildren, Christopher Lay, Ran Lay, Erin Wallace-Browne and Shane Wallce-Brown, two brothers, Victor of Lorain and Gaillard of Amherst. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Helen Irene (nee Csesregi). Parents Peter H. and Rosa A. (nee oebke), brothers Walter, Richard, Howard and sisters, Helen Franklin and Donna Lentz.
Friends may call at the Busch Curtis Scheufler Family Chapel, 114 Second Street, Elyria, Tuesday, November 7 from 2-4 to 7-9pm. All service at the funeral home, Wednesday at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Memorials may be forwarded to the Hospice of the donor's choice.
