Elizabeth A. Werner, 82, Lorain Town Club Member

She was born on August 3, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Lorain in 1940. She was a graduate of the Andrews School for Girls. Mrs. Werner was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Lorain. She was also a member of the Lorain Town Club and was a sorority sister in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She retired as an executive secretary from the former Lorain Telephone Company, now CenturyTel.

Mrs. Werner is survived by her son, George K. "Bud" Werner, Jr. of Lexena, Kansas, daughter: Lisa Beth Bobo of Garfield Heights, OH, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George K. Werner, Sr., in 1992 and her parents: John J and Marguerite Harris.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Thursday, November 9, 2000 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 10, 2000 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Revs. Donald Yaekle and Sprite Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
