Cecelia M. Cassidy, 88

She was born January 2, 1912 in Youngstown, OH. She was a Lorain resident for the past 20 years, moving from Vermilion where she had also lived for 20 years.

She enjoyed cooking, sightseeing, and playing cards.

She is survived by 2 sons, Robert James Cassidy of Winder, Georgia and Raymond Jeril Cassidy of Lorain; 2 grandchildren and her friend of 20 years, Gerard Doering of Winder, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Findley and second husband, Robert Cassidy in 1971; daughter, Mary Cecelia Findley; and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16th from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Sister Eve Marie Korzym Pastoral Associate of St. Mary Catholic Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
