Andrea Kay Pavlich, 42, Clincial Pharmacist Specialist

Born August 30, 1958 in Lorain, she grew up in Vermilion and lived in Toledo since 1976.

She began her career in 1981 at Toledo Hospital, as a staff pharmacist then became a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist and Drug Information Specialist at Toledo Hospital in 1981.

She graduated from Toledo University and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Toledo and St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion. She was a member of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, the Ohio Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, the Toledo Area Society of Health Systems Pharmacists where she previously served as President and secretary. She served as a preceptor to University of Toledo College of Pharmacy clerkship students. She was a member of Lambda Kappa Sigma, a professional fraternity for women in pharmacy.

She is survived by her parents, Earlene (nee Hovey) and Peter Pavlich, Vermilion, a sister, Tracey Kiss, Vermilion; a brother, Bruce Pavlich, Toledo and Brent Pavlich, Amherst; 6 nephews and her maternal grandmother, Josephine Hovey, Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mary and Peter Pavlich and her maternal grandfather.

Friends may call Sunday, December 03, 2000 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Monday, December 4, 2000 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, where a Christian Wake service will be held Monday, December 4, 2000, at 8:30 p.m. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12: 00 Noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Father Steve Blum, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
