Myrtle Louise Benson, (nee Shaddick), 89 of Lorain died Friday night, December 8, 2000 at Kingston of Vermilion Nursing Home, Vermilion, following a short illness.Mrs. Benson was born October 27, 1911 in Lady Lake, FL., living most of her life in Lorain.
She was a homemaker.
She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lorain, and the United British Society.
Survivors include 2 cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas in November 14, 1981, her parents, William and Annie (nee Thomas) Shaddick, and a brother Thomas Shaddick.
Friends may call Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Tuesday, December 12th from 1PM until the time of service at 2PM.
Officiating will be the Rev. James Smucker, Pastor of the Heritage Presbyterian Church Amherst/Lorain.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
