Esther Ruth Folger, 86, Receptionist

Born on August 28, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a Vermilion resident since 1968 moving from Wayne Michigan.

She had worked as a receptionist for H & R Block, Vermilion, and had worked at Detroit Metropolitan Airport as a cashier.

She belonged to Harbour Town Garden Club and enjoyed baking, traveling, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Folger to whom she was married 38 years, a daughter, Greta Remali, Vermilion; 2 sons, Russell Griffin, Pentwater, Michigan and John Remali, Sheffield Village; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Paetow and her parents, Harry and Ruth (nee Cross) Paetow.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13th at 11 a.m. The Rev. Chuck Davis, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, Vermilion, will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
