Michael Mullins, 6, 1st Grader
Michael Mullins, age 6, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Thursday, December 14, at Rainbow Babies's and Children's Hospital, following complications of a sudden illness, which caused pressure on his brain. Michael was born, February 2, 1994 in Westlake and has always lived in Sheffield Lake.He was a 1st grader at Knollwood Elementary School, Sheffield Lake, a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church, Avon Lake, the church's Sunday School and was an eager participant in the Children's portion of the church service.
Michael is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Jennifer (nee Schindler) Martin, a brother Christopher Schindler and sister Mackenzie Martin, both at home. Other survivors include great grandparents, Norman and Millie Greene of Avon Lake, Helmut and Norma Schindler of Elyria and Irene Schindler of Avon Lake. Grandparents, Wolfgang and Elaine Schindler of Avon Lake, Darlene and Michael Mullins of Vermilion and a step grandmother Dee Martin. Aunts and uncles include Scott and Karen Schindler, Jerry Martin, Lynn and Patty Greene, Leah Gercak, George and Phyllis Schindler, Barb and Bradley Doan and Rose and Mark Wilkins, as well as many cousins.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, Tuesday, December 19, 2000. Friends may also call at the Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 33199 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am Wednesday, December 20. Rev. William Grant of the Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden. Contributions may be forwarded to the memorial fund of the church or to the B.F. Goodrich Credit Union, 586 Moore Rd., Avon Lake, 44012
