Donald E. Lamb, 50, Vietnam Veteran
Donald E. Lamb, age 50, of Lorain died on Thursday, December 28, 2000 at Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria unexpectedly.He was born on July 14, 1950 in Glenville, WV moving to Lorain as a child. Mr. Lamb was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. During Vietnam. He retired from Ford Motor Co., Lorain after 23 years as an assembler.
Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife: Brenda D. (nee Moore) Lamb of Lorain, to whom he was married on February 13, 1971, his two daughters, Jennifer S. Lamb of Las Vegas, NV and Sara A. Lamb of Lorain, son: James A. Lamb of Lorain, 7 grandchildren, his father and step mother: William and Nancy Lamb of Norwalk, sisters: Nancy G. Kuhn and Sharon Peters, both of Grafton, Barbara A. Menefee of Amherst, brothers: Stephen L. Lamb of Orange Park, FL, William H. Lamb of Boston, MA, several nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Frances (nee Martin) Lamb in 1994.
Friends may call at Schwartz, Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Wednesday, January 3, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on January 3, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. at Schwartz, Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain with Rev. Jay Roller, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Lorain, officiating.
Donald E. Lamb will be buried at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2001 in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio with military honors provided by the National Cemetery's Volunteer Honor Guard.
