Jean F. Pena, 69, St. Thomas teh Apostle Catholic Church Member

Born on August 20, 1931, in Lorain, she graduated from Lorain High School in 1949. Jean was a resident of Lorain until her move to Sheffield Lake in 1963.

She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Sheffield Lake, as well as United Steel Workers Union Local 1104 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alfred; 4 daughters, Nancy Smith, Jacquelyn Pena, Kathleen Thompson and Tammy Raines, all of Sheffield Lake; 3 grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Louise Dineff of Lorain.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Medaglia, Louise Medaglia (nee Petrillo) in 1969 and a daughter, Lisa Jean Pena.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2000 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 521 Harris Road, Sheffield Lake.

Rev. Father Stephen Shields, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
