Joyce L. Kishman, 74, Beautician

Vermilion - Joyce L. Kishman, 74, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 6,
2001 at Kingston of Vermilion after a 10 year illness.

Born May 25, 1926 in Grafton, Ohio she was a Vermilion resident since 1936. She had worked as a beautician for the Jane Davis Beauty Salon and Mary Avery Beauty Salon, both in Vermilion, and had been a hairdresser for Fisher Funeral Home, Gerber Funeral Home and Riddle Funeral Home.

She also had an antique shop at Jamie's Flee Market, South Amherst, from 1975-1983. She had volunteered at Lorain Community Hospital, enjoyed antiques, crafts, painting, sewing, reading and refinishing furniture.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles W. Kishman ; a daughter,
Gayle Campbell, Broadview Heights; 2 sons, Charles, Jr. "Bill", Vermilion
and Kenneth, Fairmont, West Virginia; 5 grandchildren, Annalee McQueen, Julie Ritchie, Kenny Kishman, Amy and Tim Campbell; 3 great grandchildren, Matthew and Caitlin McQueen and Hannah Ritchie; and a sister, Laura Beam, Bradenton, FL. She was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Bement; a brother, Jack Brothers; and her parents, Lloyd and Gertrude (nee Martin) Brothers.

Friends may call Monday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Dr. John D. Hood, pastor of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, will officiate.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association, Cleveland Chapter, 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44120.
