Ruby Fredora Minnich Brown, 96, Homemaker
Ruby Fredora "Freda" Minnich Brown (nee Johnston), ager 96, wife of the late Edward Minnich and Edward B. Brown, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2001 at the Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain where she resided for many years.She was a homemaker and had also been employed for many years by Ed's Live Bait on Huron St. in Elyria, which she and her husband Ed owned and operated. She enjoyed fishing and fishing trip to Canada and collecting China. She attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Elyria, OH.
In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by her son Edwarth M. Minnich and Rolland Minnich and her parents, Albert and Marion (nee Priest) Johnston.
She is survived by her step-son, Edward Brown of Sheffield Village; five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Private services will be held at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Arrangements are being handled by the Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler Family Chapel, 114 Second St., Elyria.
