William L. Parsons, 25, Maintenance Manager

William L. "Bondo Bill" Parsons, age 25, of Lorain died on Monday, January 29, 2001 at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland, following injuries he sustained in a fire at his residence.

He was born on August 13, 1975 in Lorain, where he has been a life long resident. He attended Murray Ridge School in Elyria.

He was a Maintenance Manager for Ed's Complete Auto Repair in Lorain for the past five years.

Bondo Bill was a member of the Lorain East Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. He thoroughly enjoyed country music, playing the drums, keyboard and guitar, roller skating, bowling, annual visits to the Zoo and Sea World, camping, the Fair and going on tows with his father.

He is survived by his parents: Edward and Virginia (nee VonWert) Parsons, Sr.; 3 brothers: Edward W. Jr., Jeff and Kelly Dean, all of Lorain; 2 sisters: Tammy Lynn Linden and Pamela Louise Parsons, both of Lorain; and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James M. Parsons in 1981.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 1, 2001 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held Friday, February 2, 2001 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
