Bob Mihalick Mihalick, 73, Truck Driver

Bob Mihalick, 73 of Lorain died Monday January 30, 2001 in Saint Joseph New Life Hospice Center, Lorain following a lengthy illness.

He was born September 16, 1927 and was a life long resident of Lorain.

Mr. Mihalick worked as a hand on various great lakes ore freighters until 1962. Then worked as a truck driver for Belu and Sons Blacktop in Sheffield Village and Fritz's Garage in Lorain. He loved his pet dogs and was a collector.

Among the survivors are his sons Telly Manko and Michael Mihalick both of Lorain, daughters Helen and Patricia Pagan both of Lorain. Also a sister Margaret Hill of Birmingham Township, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years Frances (nee Pielak) in 1993, son Raymond in 1970, parents Michael and Mary (nee Boboski) Mihalsky, brothers Pete, Andrew, Michael, and Steve; a sister Anna, step brothers George and Joseph.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 31, 2001 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain, Ohio. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 1, 2001at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Tony De Gracia, Deacon of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain Officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
