Joseph A. "Junior" Wojtko, 71, WWII Veteran
Joseph A. "Junior" Wojtko, 71 of Elyria Twp., died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at EMH Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born September 15, 1929 in Columbus, OH and had lived in Elyria most of his life. He was a mechinist for the Elyria Manufacturing Corporation in Elyria, retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He enjoyed repairing autos and his pet dogs.He is survived by daughters: Carol Rosenkotter of Phoenix, AZ, June Bristor of Elyria, OH. Sister: Anna Rehm of South Amherst, OH. Stepsons: Rodney Webber of Elyria, and Ronald Webber of Indiana. 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Reida L. Wojtko in 1994, a son; Alex J.�Wojtko in 1998 and a nephew; Matthew A. Rehm in 1996.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2001 at the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria where the funeral service wll be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2001. The Rev. Gary J. Malin, associate pastor of St. Mary's Church in Elyria will officiate and burial is at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
