Elizabeth "Betty" A. Jackson Ingersoll, 87, Bank Teller

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Jackson Ingersoll (nee Feichtner), 87, died Tuesday morning, February 6, 2001, at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born on April 3, 1913 in Oberlin, Ohio and she moved to Vermilion in September of 1993 from Amherst.

She was a bank teller for Lorain County Bank; now known as First Merit, retiring in 1975 after 20 years of service. She was a member of TOPS in Amherst.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Charles E. Jackson of Wakeman and William Jackson of Vermilion; 18 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; and stepdaughter, Joan Forney of Wellington.

She was preceded her in death, by her 1st husband, Lawrence, 2nd husband, F.A. Ingersoll; step son, Stanley Ingersoll and a brother, Jack Ward.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2001, from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 noon at the Old Stone United Methodist Church, 553 Main Street, Amherst, with the Reverend Peter Kerlin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Camden Cemetery in Kipton, Ohio.
