Ernest L. Browder, 66, Veteran, Ford Motor Co.

Ernest L. Browder, 66, of Sheffield Lake died on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001 at the home of his son in Elyria, OH following a short illness.

Mr. Browder was born on March 2, 1934 in Jackson, IL, moving to Ohio in 1952.

He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a retired foundry worker from the Ford Motor Co. in Brookpark after 33 years service.

He was a born again Christian. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, "digging root" and gardening.

Mr. Browder is survived by his wife: Mollyetta (nee Carver) Browder, daughter, Ernestine Herman of Missouri, his sons, Gary Browder of Elyria, OH, and Ernest L. Browder Jr., of Sheffield Lake, OH, four grandchildren, one great-grandson, his brothers: Andrew Browder and John Browder both of Ripley, WV, Rev. Charlie Browder of Quinland, WV, and his sister Lucille Robinson of Ripley, WV.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Kendall and Margie (nee Sigman) Browder, his brother Orrville Browder, his sisters: Betty June Canterberry and Bessie Ramsey.

Friends may call at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th St., Lorain, OH, on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 7-9 p.m.

Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, 7-9 p.m. at the Handley Funeral Home, 3rd St. in Danville, WV.

Funeral services will be held on Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Charles Browder and Rev. Larry Sigman officiating.

Ernest L. Browder will be buried at Memory Gardens in Madison, WV with full military honors.
