Willia M. Bivins, 76, Nursing Technician

Willia M. Bivins (nee Warren), 76, died February 16, 2001 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 24, 1924 in Johnson County, Arkansas. She has been a
Vermilion resident since 1951 moving from Missouri.

She was a Nursing Technician for Lorain County Community Hospital retiring
in 1986 after 18 years of service. She had also worked at the Riverview
Nursing Home in Vermilion for 4 years and before that South Shore Packing in
Vermilion for 7 � years.

She was a member of the Vermilion Four Square Church. She enjoyed
visiting Nursing homes, cooking, quilting, and crocheting.

She is survived by her mother, Maggie (nee Terry) Warren, Vermilion,
Ohio; 3 sons, Willard Bivins of Waldhonding, Ohio, Rondal Bivins of Wakeman
and Delbert Bivins of Vermilion, 7 Grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4
sisters, Edith Ross of Amherst, Margaret Anderson of Haslett, Michigan; and
4 brothers, Joe Warren of Everett Michigan, Roy Warren and Troy Warren both
of Wakeman and Dale Warren of Vermilion. She is preceded in death by her
husband, Herbert Bivins in 1992, father, Sherman Warren, son, Rodney and
sister, Geneiva Warren.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday, at the
Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, where funeral services
will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Reverend James Cooper, pastor of
Harbourtown Community Foresquare Church , and Reverend Lynford West, former pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
