Franklin Thomas Laws, 67, Manager, Clerk

He was born on October 4, 1933 in Harlan County, KY. He moved to St. Louis were he lived for 27 years and then moved to Vermilion on October 12, 1995.

He worked as a store assistant manager at 5 and 10 stores Newberry in Harlan, KY and as a clerk for Landmark Banks in St. Louis.

He is survived by 1 brother, Lloyd C. Laws of Harlan KY; and 1 sister, Marceline Gray of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (nee Shipp) in 1995 his father, Warfield J. Laws in 1977 and his mother, Mary E. Laws in 1999.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 on Tuesday February 27 at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with the Reverend Jerry Anderson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
