Frank Staszak, 84, Tool and Dye Maker

Frank Staszak, 84, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday, March 4, 2001 at his residence.

He was born September 20, 1916 in Horning PA and was a graduate of Lorain High School. Mr. Staszak was a tool and dye maker for 46 years with U.S. Steel Company. He retired in 1979 and moved to Phoenix AZ. He later came back to Lorain in November 1997 to live with his sister.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his sons, Vincent J. Staszak of Mankato, MN and daughter Bridgette R. Ross of Elyria, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Fond uncle to many niece and nephews.

Mr. Staszak was preceded in death by his wife Tillie in 1982, sons Robert Staszak in 1994, his infant son Michael, sister Jean Delaney and brothers, Steve, George and John Staszak.

The family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Frank from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2001 at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain. Services will be Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Fr. G. Michael Williamson, associate pastor, will officiate. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
