Jim Mosler, 50, Environmentalist
Jim Mosler 50, of Elyria, died Wednesday March 7, 2001 in E. M. H. Regional Medical Center, Elyria following a heart attack.He was born May 3, 1950 in Grayson, Kentucky. He moved to Mansfield, Ohio as a child and to Lorain in 1960. In 1974 he moved to Elyria.
He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1968. He attended Oberlin College and trained at Lorain County J. V. S.,
Mr. Mosier owned and operated Lorain Power Wash since 1980.
He worked for the Ford Lorain Assembly Plant from 1973 until 1984.
He was also a Journeyman in the Carpenters Union, Elyria. Jim was currently employed as Machinist for the Feller Tool Co., Elyria.
Mr. Mosier was an environmentalist; he was a founding member of Friends of the Wetlands in Elyria. He was an avid reader and enjoyed music.
Among the survivors is his wife of 18 years Pamela (nee Duffield), a daughter Emily Mosier at home, his mother Thelma (nee Keaton) Mosier of Lorain and a brother Don Mosier of Vermilion, three nieces and a grand niece.
He was preceded in death by his father William D. Mosier in 1992.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st street, South Lorain, OH.
