Mary W. Braleski, 68, 4th Grade PSR Teacher

Mary W. Braleski (nee Winter), age 68, of Lorain, died Thursday, March 8, 2001 in the emergency room of Community Health Partners Hospital and surgical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born April 7, 1932 in Lorain, she lived here her entire life.

She was an active member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Lorain, where she had served as a Lector. She also was a 4th grade PSR teacher and a member of the Education Committee at the Church.

She enjoyed collecting angels.

Surviving is her son, Mark of Holiday, FL, 3 grandchildren, sisters: Shirley Davis of Lorain, Nancy Webb and Donna Winter both of Pataskala, OH, Helen Brown of Port Clinton, OH, and Auldene Koehne of Richmond CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1957, her parents, Eric and Eleanor (nee Hook) Winter, a son, Christopher, in 1957, and a brother Henry Winter, in 1967.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, march 13th from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 14th at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Lorain. Rev. Fr. Robert J. Glepko, pastor and Deacon Robert J. Dybo, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
