John Franklin Graver Sr., 42, Lakeshore Auto Wholesaler Manager

John Franklin Graver Sr., age 42, of Lorain, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center following a sudden illness at his residence.

Born December 12, 1958 in Lorain, he had lived there his entire life. He attended Larkmoor Elementary School, Longfellow Junior High School and Lorain High School.

He was the manager of Lakeshore Auto Wholesaler Inc., Cooper Foster Park Road, Lorain for the past 7 years. Prior to that he worked for A.R.A. Cafeteria at the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant for 13 years.

He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, Lorain. He enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving is his wife with who he celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary this past March 8th, Cynthia (nee Flannery), a son, John Franklin Graver Jr., Lorain, 1 granddaughter, 4 brothers, Charles H. Faurot, Kermit Graver Jr., Harold C. Graver, and Kenneth P. Graver, all of Lorain, sisters Joyce Hamilton, of Elyria and Rosemarie Phillips of French Creek, West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit E. Graver Sr., in 1994 and Mary Graver (nee Lambert), in 1990.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. The family will also receive friends on Wednesday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Beacon Baptist Church, 3407 W. Erie Ave., Lorain. Rev. Aaron E. Webb, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
