Frank Dallos, 39, Lorain Works US Steel/ Steel Pourer

Frank Dallos; age 83, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, Following a short illness. He was born on September 9, 1917 in Sheffield Township, Ohio, and lived in this area his entire life.
Mr. Dallos attended Clearview High School.
He served in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Coporal. He received the European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon, and good Conduct Medal.
He worked at Lorain Works US Steel, more recently as a steel pourer in the BOP shop, retiring in 1980, with over 40 years of service.
He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local #1104.
He enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his 4 brothers: Andrew A., and William, of Sheffield Twp., Paul of Elyria, and Charles A., of Avon.
He is preceded in death by his parents: john, in 1965, and Theresa, in 1972; sisters: Theresa Bedo and Helen; and brothers: John, Jr., in 1967, and Steve, in1937.
Services were held on Saturday, March 17, 2001, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Rev. Richard Henry, Jr., pastor of the Amherst Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. The Disabled American Veterans, Louis Paul Proy Chapter 20, Lorain, conducted full military honors.
