Brian Tibbitts, 39, Construction Worker

LORAIN, OH - Brian Tibbitts, 39, of Lorain, died suddenly Friday, March 16, 2001 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1961 in Cleveland and resided there and Avon Lake before moving to Lorain. He was a Graduate of Lorain Catholic High School and Kent State University, and was employed in construction. He enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Brian is survived by a son, Christopher of Cuyahoga Falls; his father, Clayton of Avon Lake; two brothers, Clayton Jr. of Cleveland and Francis of Avon Lake; and a sister, Theresa Baker of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary; and three brothers, Robert, James and John.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake Monday, March 19, 2001 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. Prayer Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at 11:45 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake at 12:30pm. Rev. Timothy J.O'Connor will officiate. Burial will take place following the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park. Memorials may be forwarded to his son, Christopher Tibbitts, in care of St. Joseph Church Credit Union, Avon Lake.
