Efharis M. Paradissis, 85 of Lorain died on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at Community Health Partners W in Lorain, OH after a long illness.
Mrs. Paradissis was born on April 3, 1915 in Chios, Greece and moved to Lorain in 1966. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Paradissis was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and the Piloptochos Society of the church.
She is survived by her daughter, Ketty Athineos of Lorain, her two sons, Ken Paradissis of Lorain, and Pete Paradissis formerly of Amherst now living in Florida, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her sister Despina Panteloukas of Baltimore, MD.
Mrs. Paradissis is preceded in death by her mother Eftichia, her father Kyriakos, her sisters: Demetra, Kitsa, Rallia, Themis and her brother, Nicholas.
Friends may call at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th St., Lorain, OH, on Thursday, March 29, 2001 from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m. A Trisayion Service will be at 7:30p.m.
Prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2001 in the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church; 2000 Tower Blvd., Lorain, Ohio followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service officiated by Rev. Michael Gulgas, pastor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
Efharis M. Paradissis will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Twp., OH.
