Laura M. Molnar, 77, Assembler

Laura M. Molnar (nee Rinkowski), age 77, of Lorain, Ohio, died Friday, March 30, 2001 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph Following a brief illness. She was born October 11, 1923 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.
Mrs. Molnar attended Lorain High School and went on to work as an assembler with the General industries Corp. of Elyria.
She was a former member of Stone City Chapter Order of the Eastern Star whose hobbies include cooking and gardening. She was an avid reader who developed a specific interest in English mystery stories; she was also a member of the Friends of the Library.
She is survived by her daughters: Laura Farley and Linda Edwards both of Lorain, 2 grandchildren, and a sister: Ruth Carr also of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband: Alex Molnar in 1989, and by her parents: Paul and Stella (nee Zegkowski) Rinkowski.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 - Broadway - Lorain. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in funeral chapel with the Rev. William Tumbleson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park - Amherst Township.
