Anna Marie Hall, 82, Owner, Ann Hall's Beauty Shop

Anna was born on June 30, 1918 in Bertha PA and has been a resident of Lorain for the past 57 years. She attended Burgettstown High School, Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. After moving to Lorain, she graduated from the Lorain Cosmetology School, attaining her beautician's license.

She was the owner and operator of Ann Hall's Beauty Shop in Lorain for 30 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain. She was also involved with the East Side Literary Club, Lorain. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, quilting and crocheting.

Anna is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Clarence Hall; son Robert, of Kingwood, TX, daughter, Jane Koker of Sheffield Lake; 6 grandchildren, one great-grandson; and sister, Mary Harris of Amherst.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth (nee Andrisco) Zabrusky; and sister, Elizabeth Perhot.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 6, 2001 from 7-9 p.m. and also on Saturday, April 7, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, Fr. Regis Schlagheck, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
