Delores E. Litkovitz, 72, Nurse

DELORES E. LITKOVITZ, age 72, of Lorain, died Sunday April 1, 2001 at Golden Acres Nursing Home (Amherst) following a brief illness. She was born August 20, 1928 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city. She attended Lorain High School and later graduated from St. Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1955.

She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at the former St. Joseph Hospital as well as Amherst Hospital. She retired in 1986 following 20 years of combined nursing service. A member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ (Lorain), She was also a member and past officer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lorain Moose Lodge #552, and had won numerous awards in dance competition. She also enjoyed travel.

She is survived by a son: Kenneth W. Boros of Amherst, Sister: Sandra J. Clark of Lorain, one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: Alex Boros, her second husband: Marty Martinez, and her parents: George and Ethel (nee Smith) Litkovitz.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2001 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Dombrowski-Wohlever & Volak Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain where a memorial prayer service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Zoltan D. Szuce, Bishop and Pastor of the Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park - Amherst Township
