Jolly Ervin Cross, 58, Mechanic

Mr. Cross was born on April 15, 1942 in Richland Twp., Belmont county, Ohio and has lived in Lorain for the last 35 years.

He was employed as a mechanic with Almira Tire Company in Lorain.

Mr. Cross is survived by his daughter, Kim Collins of Brookpark, OH, his son, Patrick Cross of Elyria, OH, 3 grandchildren, his sisters: Lucy Beals, Sandy Cross, Vera Kuhn, Ann Schmitt, Connie Spencer, Rose Wright, his brothers: Allen Cross, David Cross, Francis Cross, Jamie Cross, Ronnie Cross and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jessie Ervin and Thelma (nee Whiteman) Cross, his brothers: Robert Cross and Richard Cross.

Friends may call at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Thursday, April 5, 2001 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be on Friday, April 6, 2001 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, 49484 O.R. and W. Station Road, Jacobsburg, Ohio 43933.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH with Rev. Gerald Blon officiating.

Jolly Ervin Cross will be buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Keyridge, OH.
