Kathleen M. Buckley, 93, Cook

Kathleen M. Buckley, (nee Martin), 93, of Lorain, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital, West, following a long illness.

Mrs. Buckley was born December 21, 1907 in Lakewood, Ohio living most of her life in the Lorain area.

She had been employed at Rebman's Bowling Alley, as a short order cook.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Roberta Buckley, Geraldine Milovich both of Lorain, Annetta jean Buckley of Amherst, 2 sons: James of Lorain, and William of Columbus, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Buckley in 1981, a grandson, James A. Buckley in 1986, 3 sisters, Alice Knapp, Marian Mirman, and Louise Thurston.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Thursday, April 5, 2001 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where the Holy name Society will recite the rosary at 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 6, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain with the Rev. Thomas Smith, Pastor officiating.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
