Kathleen Maynard, 70, Homemaker
Kathleen Maynard (nee Grizzell), age 70, of Amherst died Friday, April 6, 2001 at specialty Hospital of Lorain, following a lengthy illness.Born on September 28, 1930, in Kenova, W.VA, she lived most of her life in Lorain prior to moving to Amherst in 1997.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending all of her time with her family.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Maynard, Jr., 3 sons: Frank Todd, James, Both of Amherst, and Charles of Freeport, Maine; 3 daughters: Paula Renzhofer, Patricia Silsby, both of Lorain, and Brenda Kozie-Peak of Naples, Florida; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: James Grizzell of Vermilion, William D. Gibson of Cleveland, and J. Eugene Gibson of Huntington, of W. VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence Grizzell and Ida (nee Childers) Grizzell Gibson; 3 brothers: Charles Grizzell, Kenneth Grizzell and George Gibson and sister: June Ellen Johnson.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 8, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where services will be conducted Monday, April 8, 20j01 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Robert Schroyer, Associate Pastor of the Church of the Open Door, Amherst will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
