Antoinette "Anna" Angotti, 85, Baker's Assistant

Antoinette "Anna" Angotti (nee Marra), 85, of Avon Lake passed away Thursday, April 12, at her home following a sudden illness (natural causes).

She was born September 14,1 915 in Clarksburg, West Virginia and moved to Avon Lake from Redford Township, Michigan in August of 1978.

She retired in 1977 as a baker's assistant from Awrey Bakery in Farmington, Michigan after thirty years of employment. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake.

She is survived by her son Pat Angotti of Trabuco Canyon, California, eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren survive her. A brother, Frank Marra and a sister Kay Peters both of Michigan and a sister, Lucy Panetta of West Virginia also survived her. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1982, son Fred in 1998, granddaughter Cathryn Angotti in 1997 and grandson Pat Angotti in 1999, her parents, Patsy and Mary (nee Pignanelli) Marra and two sisters and one brother.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Beldon Road, Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2001. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 9:15 a.m. followed by the mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor, pastor will officiate.

Burial will follow at Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River. Memorials may be forwarded to St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012.
