Marilyn L. Cecil, 57, Beauty Salons Owner

Marilyn was born on March 16, 1944, in Lorain and resided there most of her life. She was a graduate of Lorain High School, the Northern Institute of Cosmetology and had been an instructor at Elyria Beauty Academy and she had owned and operated Beauty Salons in Sheffield Lake, South Amherst and Amherst, and she and her husband had been the Manger of the Chanticlear Inn at Lookout Mt., GA.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Dean R. Cecil, her son Daniel Makruski of Amherst, step-daughter Brenda Watkins of Sheffield Village, step sons Gary Cecil of Vermilion and Daniel Cecil of Lorain, 5 grandchildren, her brothers: Albert Kucirek, of Lawrenceville, GA and Joseph Kucierek of Lorain.

She was preceded by her parents, Emil and Emily (nee Zahoreck) Kucirek.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence and Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 5th Street, Lorain.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 27, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Bradley J. Donahue, Pastor of the Christian Temple officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
