Mildred A. Klein, 76, Active in Church
Mildred a Klein (nee Ivancic)- 76 of Avon Lake, passed away, Friday, May 4, at the North Ridge Health Center, North Ridgeville, following a short illness. Mrs. Klein was born, May 26, 1924 in Lorain, graduated from Lorain High school in 1942, lived for a time in Cleveland and Lakewood before settling in Avon Lake, 40 years ago.Mrs. Klein was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake; the church's Isabella Group and the Ladies Guild, Circle 5. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and word games.
Her husband of 48 years, the late Joseph, passed away in 1994. Survivors include a son Kenneth K. Klein of Avon Lake, stepdaughter Jean Bennett of Elyria, stepson Ron Klein of Cleveland, 2 grandchildren, a brother Bernard Vance of Grand Island, NY and a sister Rosemary Ivancic of Bay Village. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes (nee Tomsic) Ivancic.
A memorial mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake, Saturday, May 12, at 9:30 a.m. Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor of the Church will officiate.
