Margaret H. (nee Carpenter) Schneider, age 86 of Fairview Park, OH, formerly of Lorain, OH died Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH.Mrs. Schneider was born on April 28, 1915 in Bellefontaine, OH. She was a graduate of Lorain High School Class of 1932 B. She was a graduate of Spencerian Business College in 1936. She was a member of the Delaware Avenue United Methodist Church in Lorain.
She was a retired secretary with Key Bank. Mrs. Schneider enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.
Mrs. Schneider is survived by her sister Isabel Barbour of Grand Rapids, MI, stepdaughter, Karen B. DeChant of Dunwoody, GA, her stepson, John D. Schneider of Lorain, OH and 4 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: John Schneider on July 6, 1990, her parents: William Ira & Mary Catherine (nee Maeder) Carpenter and a granddaughter: Michelle DeChant in 1966.

Funeral services will be held on May 12, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. in Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH, with Rev. J. Dennis Henkle, pastor officiating.
Margaret H. Schneider will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township, OH.
