Elizabeth JoAnn Heck, (nee Moran), age 66, of Lorain, died on Friday, May 11, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. She became ill while visiting relatives in Fairmont, West Virginia.She was born July 24, 1934 in Fairmont, West Virginia, and graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1952. She came to Lorain in 1955. She was a mother and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Oliver A. Heck: four daughters, Linda Heck, Clara Jo Milam, Etta Mae Heck and Beth Ann Heck, all of Lorain: her parents, Lester L. and Doris G. (nee Vincent) Moran, of Fairmont WV; one sister, Lucille Van Gilder of Fairmont, WV and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, WV. Friends may also call at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain on Tuesday, May 15, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. And Wednesday, May 16, 2001, from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM in the chapel at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Route 83, Avon. Burial will follow the services at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
