Esther Siegfried, 70, Enjoyed Cooking and Sewing
Esther Siegfried, (nee Bucher) age 70, of Lorain, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at the Specialty Hospital of Lorain following an extended illness. She was born August 22, 1930 in Cleveland and had been a resident of Lorain since she was an adolescent. She attended Lorain High School.Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Harry B. Siegfried, sons: Allan of Vermilion and Frank of Lorain, daughters: Cheryl Pinkerton of Lorain, Karen Thompson of Avon Lake, and MaryJo Barr of Montpelier, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister: Madeline Schreckengost of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her son: Wayne in 1996, by her father Frank Bucher in 1954, and her mother Mary (nee Raynak) Bucher in 1987.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Baptist Church-5046 Broadway- Lorain. The Rev. Jack R. Ison, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery- Lorain.
