Jerry Lee Woody, 37, Machinist
Jerry Lee Woody, 37, of Lorain died unexpectedly Friday, May 25, 2001 at his residence.Mr. Woody was born July 1, 1063 in Washington Court House, Ohio living most of his life in the Lorain area.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed as a machinist at Repko Company.
Survivors include a son David Lee Woody of Lorain, his father: David Gerald Woody of Anaheim, CA, his mother and stepfather: Gerald and Wanda Louise (nee McCoy) Pitts of Lorain, sisters: Michele Perrigan and Dreamelee Lute both of Lorain, brothers: Larry Pitts and Lonnie Pitts both of Seattle WA and Brian Lee Woody of Anaheim CA, and other half brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers David Gerald Woody and Troy David McCoy.
Friends may call Sunday, May 27, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, May 28, 2001 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Reidy -Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. James McKenzie, Pastor of Faith United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., OH.
Full military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #451, Lorain.
