William R. Hutchinson, Jr., 61, Auto Body Technician

William R. Hutchinson, Jr., 61, of Sheffield Lake, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Hutchinson was born February 28, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan.

He had resided in Sheffield Lake for the past 10 years. Prior to that he lived in Caro, Michigan.

He had served in the U.S. Navy.

He had been employed as an auto body technician.

Member of the Masonic Laurel ACACIA-Eastgate #477 of Michigan.

Member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Member of the Valley of Toledo.

Member of the United Street Machine Association and Pure-Gold Classic Car Club.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Karen, daughters: Debra Burley of Mayville, MI, and Kelly Mount of Dove, DE, sons: Terrance McGill of Caro, MI, and William Hutchinson, III of Caseville, MI, 6 grandchildren, and sisters: Genevieve Hutchinson and Eleanor Ward of Lompoc, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Sr., and Genevieve (nee Herr) Hutchinson.

Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be in the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Reich, Pastor of the United Church of Christ, Sheffield Lake.
