Margaret C. Krul, 95, Acive Parishioner
Margaret C. Krul (nee Molnar), age 95, of Lorain, died Thursday, May 31, 2001 at the Harborside Care Center in Westlake, Ohio following an extended illness. She was born June 11, 1905 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.An active parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Lorain, she was a member of its Marian Guild, the St. Anthony Senior Sociables, the Virgin Mary Society, as well as St. Ann's Auxiliary Branch #87, and the Third Order of St. Francis; she was also a member of the Polish American Citizens Club and the Hungarian Reformed Sick Benefit Society.
She is survived by her son: Louis S. Krul of Lorain, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Louis J. Krul in 1978, by a son: John S. Molnar, by a grandson: John M. Molnar, by brothers: Ernest and Steve Molnar and by sisters: Helen Mason and Ernestine Fusa.
Friends may call Sunday, June 3, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where a rosary service will be conducted by members of the Virgin Mary Society and the Marian Guild at 3:00 p.m. and a Christian Wake Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 4, 2001 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by her funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 East Erie Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. John Elmer, O.F.M. Conv., associate pastor of the church will officiate.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
