Audrey M. Kayle, 60, Enjoyed Working with Ceramics
Audrey M. Kayle (nee Turton), age 60, of Lorain died Thursday June 7, 2001 in the intensive care unit of Community Health Partners and Surgical Center following a brief illness. She was born January 22, 1941 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.Mrs. Kayle attended Lorain High School. A parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, she had been employed at the main branch of First Federal Savings for the past ten years. Her hobbies included working with ceramics.
Survivors include her son: Kenneth of Amherst, daughter: Corinne "Cory" M. Kayle of Lorain, three granddaughters, her mother: Dorothy (nee Jaworski) Turton of Lorain, and brothers: Ronald Turton of Lorain, and John "Jack" Turton of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Kayle in 1988 and by her father: John Turton in1959.
A funeral mass will be conducted Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church- 2428 Elyria Avenue- Lorain with the Rev. David A. Novak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery- Lorain.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel- Lorain.
