Daniel R. Heyer, 43, Locally Known Artist
Daniel R. Heyer, 43, of Lorain, died on Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center in Lorain, OH after a long illness.Mr. Heyer was born on December 21, 1957 in Elyria, OH, and had been a lifelong resident.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a locally known artist, enjoyed writing short stories and poetry. He liked to fish and be outdoors.
Mr. Heyer is survived by his three daughters: Danielle L. Heyer, Gabrielle D. Heyer, and Jennifer L. Moore all of Lorain; his companion: Connie L. Tackett of Lorain, OH; his mother Wanda L. Turner (nee Campbell) of Bradenton, FL; sisters: Patricia A. Baisden of Lorain, Karen S. Engle of Amherst, OH, Cynthia M Zadorozny of Brecksville, OH and his brother Gregory Heyer of Hudsonville, MI.
He is preceded in death by his father Gerald R. Heyer in 1995, his brother James R. Heyer and his sister Janet Lee Heyer.
Friends may call at the Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH on Thursday, June 14, 2001 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on June 14, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Schwartz-Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals in Lorain, OH with Pastor Byron powers officiating.
Daniel R. Heyer will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH with full military burial rights provided by the cemetery Volunteer Honor Guard.
