Jane V. Tocchi, 93, Active in Church

Mrs. Tocchi was born on January 25, 1908 in Oliphant, PA, coming to this area in 1925.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elyria and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She loved to crochet and bake.

Survivors include son: Jack Tocchio of Lorain; daughters: Tootsie McClelland, Lucille Laschen, Bea-Ann Johns, and Norma J. Flores all of Lorain; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister: Anne Wetzel of Union Lake, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carlo Tocchio in 1984; parents Dominic and Patricia (nee Silei) Coville; a brother; and 5 sisters.

Friends may call at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd., East, Elyria, Ohio with the Rev. James R. Ols, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
