Barabra L. Larson, 54, Workshop Specialist II
Barbara L. Larson (nee George), 54, of Lorain, died at Community Health Partners, West, Saturday, June 16, 2001 following a lengthy illness.Mrs. Larson was born October 17, 1946 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. She was employed as a Workshop Specialist II at Lorain County Mental Retardation Developmental Disabilities for 14 years.
She is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Jonathan (Anne) Dougan of Lorain; sons: Dennis and David Larson, both of Lorain; 3 grandchildren; brothers: Nicholas George of Lorain and Joseph George of Georgia; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Katherine (nee Namy) George, Sr. and a brother Leo George, Jr.
Friends may call at the Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Namy, Associate Pastor, of the Cuyahoga Falls First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
