Joan G. Kay, 86, of Sheffield Village died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born November 23, 1914 in Germany but had lived in Sheffield Village most of her life.Survivors include sons: Roy Kay of Elyria, OH, William Kay of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Elmer Kay of Clearwater, FL, and Ronald Holtzheimer of California; daughter: Janice Kay of Sheffield Village, OH; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Kay in 1957; and a brother: Rudy Wacanknecht.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 440 N. Lake St., Amherst with the Pastor Willis Hull officiating. Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
