Shirley M. Landy, 64, Enjoyed Crossword Puzzles

Shirley M. Landy (nee Graham), 64, of Lorain died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Landy was born on August 14, 1936 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. She enjoyed watching Court TV and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by husband of 46 years, John H. Landy; sons: John C. and James F. both of Lorain; daughters: Londa Adkins and Sandra Justice both of Elyria, Nancy Leonard of North Ridgeville, Renae Ralph of Lorain; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister: Margaret Adams of Elyria; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ada (nee McGee) Graham; a brother: Monroe Yoder; and a sister: Annabelle Poltrone.

Friends may call Friday, June 22, 2001 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001 in the funeral home with the Rev. Jay Roller, Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
