Eleanor E. Szabo, 78

Ms. Szabo was born in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed at US Steel in Lorain from 1945-1980 as an executive secretary. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Lorain, and past member of the National Secretaries Association, Lorain Chapter.

Survivors include 2 sisters: Louise T. Peltz and Roberta M. Bastock both of Lorain. She was a fond and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Theresa (nee Urban) Szabo, and sisters Magdalen Karney 1992 and Vivian Fragassi 1997.

Friends may call at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Sunday, July 8, 2001 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2001 at 8:50 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at St. Mary Church, 310 8th Street, Lorain, with the Rev. Paul Donohue, M.C.C.J. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
