Fred A. Beese, 73, Truck Driver

Mr. Beese was born on August 14, 1927 in Elyria, OH and was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended the First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake. He was a retired truck driver with Jefferson Trucking Co of Lorain. He was a member of the Teamster's Union Local #571 and was presently president of Teamsters Retirees Local #571. Mr. Beese was a genealogist, collected antique post cards with a specialty in the local area, was an amateur photographer and enjoyed country music.

He is survived by his wife, Mae A. Beese (nee Haupt) to whom he married on February 15, 1947, his daughter: Diana N. Hinton of Nashville, TN; his two sons: Fred W. of Sunbury, OH, and Raymond A. of Sheffield Lake, OH; 5 grandchildren; and his sister Anna Wuitowicz of Amherst.

Mr. Beese is preceded in death by his daughter Kristina Marie Beese in 1960; his son: Laurence Timothy Beese in 1970; his parents: Louie and Rose V. (nee Boris) Beese; and his brother: William Beese.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services will be held on July 10, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, OH with Pastor Greg Varndell, of the First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake, officiating.
