Josephine Jayor Rebman, 51, Interstate Road Inspector
Josephine "Dood" Javor Rebman, age 51, of Lorain, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, in her home, following a lengthy illness.She was born March 26, 1950, in Lorain, and has been a life-long resident. She attended Admiral King High School.
Josephine was an Interstate Road Inspector for the State of Ohio for 12 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst.
She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Dingess, of Amherst; one grandson; mother: Eugenia Javor (nee Christian), of Lorain; and sister: Dawn Horomanski, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jospeh Javor in 1975.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2001, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Rev. Lawrence Martello, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is in charge of arrangements.
